"Young dancers are training at a very vulnerable time in their lives... So train the whole person, not just the dancer."
~ Deborah Bull
Attendance and Arriving on Time
**Please notify the school, if possible, (732-286-2022) when you know you will be missing a class. We strongly encourage students and families to arrive 5-10 minutes before their scheduled class time if possible. This gives the students time to change, use the restroom, and prepare for class.
Outside the Classroom
Our staff has full responsibility of students during class time, but outside of class we expect that caregivers are present in assisting the young child before and after class. - Please make sure the student is not left in the lobby unattended.
Absences/Make-ups
Students are able to make-up missed days in their class level (if it meets on another day), or in the class level below them. It is not mandatory for
students to make up missed classes. NO REFUNDS are given for missed classes.
Please check with your child frequently for any handouts informing you of upcoming news or events.
Respect and Classroom Discipline:
An essential element to a dancer’s focus inside the class is complete mind and body dedication. We expect each dancer to respect themselves, the teacher, and the other students by not talking during class. This is very disruptive and does not promote an environment of learning and self-discipline. Of course, we want our students to have fun and enjoy themselves; but this can be achieved without the disruption of talking during or in between exercises. This sense of discipline and focus are attributes that your child can apply to all elements of life.
No gum in class.
Younger students should wait in line until teacher accompanies them in. Older students may come in and warm-up when the class before them lets out.
